Pink roses and royal blue teacups

Det var osäkert om vi skulle kunna åka till second hand butiken i helgen, jag har haft ont i vänster arm sedan i fredags. Men som tur var så var det inte riktigt så illa under lördagen så vi åkte dit och tur var väl det. Vi kom hem med en kaktång, fyra uppsättningar av dom blå- och guldmönstrade kopparna, fyra assietter med rosa blommor och fyra koppar med rosa blommor och gulddekor. 

Translation: I have been feeling pain in my left arm since friday, so it was unsure if we could go to the second hand-store this weekend. Luckily I felt better for a while during Saturday, so we went there and this is what we found! Four pieces of each of what is shown below, except the pastrytong, we only bought one. 

For the wedding

Jag och min sambo har börjat titta efter porslin till bröllopet på allvar nu när alla second-hand butiker har börjat ha öppet som vanligt igen efter sommaren. Här är vad vi hittills har hittat. Det känns som att det kan ta lite tid att få ihop så mycket som vi behöver, men vi har ju gott om tid. Det finns hur mycket porslin som helst där ute, men så ska det ju kännas rätt också; rätt storlekar på tallrikar, assietter och koppar, rätt mönster och skick samt ett bra pris. Det är tur att jag tycker det är kul att åka runt och titta på saker! 

Translation: Me and my fiancé have found a few things for our wedding. It´s quite a challenge to find the "right" things but we have plenty of time. 

Beginning of autumn

Så var det söndag igen. Veckorna flyger iväg känns det som. Nästa vecka är det lite jobb, en dagsresa till Kolmården och en resa till Skövde som gäller. Förhoppningsvis får vi bra väder i djurparken. Dom senaste dagarna har det regnat och åskat, verkar som att hösten redan börjar komma. Snart dags att ta fram mysiga tjocka koftor och fylla på med tépåsar :)

Oh, rainy days

Det har inte uppdaterats så mycket under sommaren, inspiration har saknats. Men nu när hösten närmar sig så kanske den kommer tillbaka?

Nåväl, idag har det regnat och tanken slog mig att jag varken äger gummistövlar eller en regntålig jacka. Kanske är något som borde införskaffas? Dom snyggaste gummistövlarna kommer från Hunter, men dom kostar ju en del.

Translation: Today when it started raining it hit me, I don't own a pair of wellies or a rainjacket. Maybe that's something I should get? These wellies from Hunter sure looks good!

First Aid Kit - Wolf

You can tell the fall is really here, and it's not too long until the winter comes.

It's frosty in the mornings and so cold you want to wear the knitted mittens.

This new video from First Aid Kit is something to keep you warm inside though.

Kitchy colours and light shades

New wallpapers are up, there's a new bed in our bedroom, a new bookshelf in the livingroom and today we're gonna put the new sofa together. I'm excited. It feels good to finally get things together and make the "new" home a home.

I've recently discovered that my taste in interior has changed a bit too. I've been very into the indian style, and I still love it. But in this apartment, it will be more bohemian style I think. Dark wooden furniture in the livingroom and lighter ones in the other rooms. I think I will have to take some pictures when it's all done and ready.

We're the trees, still green in November

The painter has been here this week, so now two rooms in our apartment got new wallpaper. Next week he will do the office and the livingroom. I'm really looking forward to have it done!

Came across these pictures from H&M's Home collection. Lately I have been in love with the things they've got. I love the pillows and the vintage look. The curtains that have the look of a bookshelf is pretty cool too.
