Under the Tuscan sun

 I watched this movie today and thought I'd share it. 

It's a feel-good movie that takes place in Tuscany and in Positano, Italy. 

Yes, that was the reason why I watched it.
I might be a little crazy, crazy about Italy at the moment.
But I think I have my reasons! 

Either way, who would say no to a house in Italy? 

I know I wouldn't. 

The nature, the weather..enough reasons for me.

I havent posted anything here in a while now. 

So what's been up in my life?

Well, first off, me and my boyfriend made the decision to finally get a cat last year. Actually, we decided to get two cats. They will be ready to move to our home next week and we are so excited! This weekend we will go to the mall and buy the rest of all the catstuff we need.

Also, before Christmas I started to work as a volunteer at a secondhand shop called Erikshjälpen. It's really fun and everyone there is very nice.

The Reader

Härom dagen såg jag denna filmen på tv, kan verkligen rekommendera den!

När Michael som 15 åring en dag blir sjuk på vägen hem från skolan möter han 36- åriga Hanna som hjälper honom hem. Detta mötet blir en början på en affär som kommer att vara under en sommar. Romansen får dock ett abrupt slut när Michael en dag kommer till Hannas lägenhet och upptäcker att hon har flyttat.

Senare i livet studerar Michael juridik och får som del i undervisningen vara med vid en rättegång. Rättegången gäller ett par vakter som åtalas för krigsbrott för sina handlingar som vakter i ett koncentrationsläger. En av de åtalade visar sig vara Hanna. Michael inser under rättegången att Hanna har en hemlighet som hon skäms mer för än sitt naziförflutna. En hemlighet som kan vara till hennes fördel.

A swedish lovestory

Två dagar i dvala. Känns det som. Har spenderat den mesta tiden sovandes, för trött för att orka göra något. Borde ha pluggat men det har inte gått. Allt har varit jobbigt och krävt för mycket energi. Allra helst hade jag sovit idag också, men vi ska få besök. Och sen behövs det fixas lite också. Plockade undan julsakerna igår kväll och sen vart det i alla fall film; En kärlekshistoria.

En resa till Grekland?

Igår och idag så handlade våra föreläsningar om kristen historia och trosläror. Mycket att komma ihåg om dom olika inriktningarna! Men väldigt intressant och roligt att läsa om.
Fick höra talas om halvön Athos för första gången. Det är en munkrepublik som består av 20 huvudsakliga östortodoxa kloster. Vill man besöka ön krävs specialtillstånd, dock får inga kvinnor komma dit. Inte ens honhundar och honkatter!

Man vill ju ofta ha det man inte kan få,
så självklart blir man sugen på att åka dit, trots att det inte skulle gå.

The Kite Runner

Jag håller på att läsa boken Flyga drake, och igår såg jag filmen. Med karibiskt te och digestivekex satt jag med en filt om mig. Och filmen var bra. Kändes lite som att dom har försökt få in väldigt mycket i filmen, men den var ändå väldigt bra. Kul att dom faktiskt pratar arabiska i filmen och att dom inte pratar engelska istället (som tex i En Geishas Memoarer).
En film värd att se.

A dark place, and the games children play

Last night I watched this movie; The Orphanage.
It´s a spanish horror movie and I think it´s really good!

"Laura, a former orphan, raises her adopted son Simón together with her husband Carlos in an old house and former orphanage where she was raised. While at the orphanage Simón tells Laura that he has five invisible friends which she believes are a product of his active imagination. Laura decides to reopen the orphanage to cater for disabled children and throws a party. During the party Simón tries to persuade Laura to go and take a look at his friends cabin but she's too busy. Later on she sees a mysterious masked boy and realizes that Simón has also disappeared.
Laura feels the presence of other people in the house and months later Laura invites a team of parapsychologists to try to unravel the mystery."

Today I´m off to Ullared with my mom.
We´re gonna meet up with my grandmother and one of my brothers.
Hopefully I will find nice things!

And for the video, I´ve recently "found" The Killers.
They´re amazing,
how come I haven´t given them a chance before?
